Gary Guller made history in 2003 when he led a team of persons with disabilities to Everest’s Base Camp and continued on to summit the famous peak. Gary, who lost an arm in a climbing accident several years before summiting Everest, will take the stage at NAB Radio in a special info session hosted by Megatrax called “To the Summit of Mt. Everest: Inspiring YOU to Greater Heights.” NAB Radio attendees are invited to join us for this energizing event in Room 117 on Thursday, September 11th from 9:30 to 10:30am.
Gary will be introduced by our SVP of Sales, Phil Macko, who co-wrote 2013’s “Make Others Greater” with Gary. Says Phil, attendees at conferences like NAB Radio “attend a lot of work-related presentations. We want to offer them a break from work and a presentation we consider to be an inspiring gift.”
Gary’s appearances show how acceptance of diversity and diversity of thought will serve a globally integrated world economy in a positive way. When asked how this relates to the NAB Radio crowd, Phil said: “Acceptance is the key. The world of broadcast is in constant flux; the message of accepting diversity translates to the acceptance of new environments, workers and corporate structures.”
This presentation will feature an informal presentation by Gary, followed by a Q&A (time permitting). Gary will also have copies of the book “Make Others Greater” with him, and he will be available for book signing and photos after the session.
