Our panel at this year’s Radio Show was a big success. “Secrets of the World’s Greatest Entertainment Brands” featured CMT’s Cody Alan, iHeartMedia’s

Tony Coles, Radio Disney’s Phil Guerini, IMGR’s Chris Nicoll, and was moderated by Sean Ross, author of the influential “Ross on Radio” newsletter. (And frequent contributor to the Megatrax blog!)

 

Phil Macko, our SVP of Sales, said: “Most panelists, especially ones of the caliber we featured, often speak very generally about their culture, success and “secret-sauce.’ That was not the case last Thursday. Cody, Phil, Chris and Tony opened up their briefcases and delivered takeaways that every station member in attendance could apply right away. From culture to creativity, they didn’t shy away from specifics – and truly demonstrated what I’ve always believed to be true…while stations compete, the radio industry itself is a family that helps one another.”

 

Chris Stevens, Megatrax’s new Division Manager for Radio Imaging, especially appreciated Cody Allen saying that Top of the Hour (TOH) imaging is key for him (and the more the better).  He also thought the quick radio spots each of the panelists had prepared to tell listeners what they do in radio were terrific.
